PHP (PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor)

PHP is a scripting language originally designed for producing dynamic Web pages. For server-side scripts, but can be used from a command line interface or standalone graphics applications.

If PHP was originally created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1995, the main application of PHP is now produced by The PHP Group and serves as a de facto standard for PHP because there is no formal specification. Released under the PHP license, the Free Software Foundation considers it to be free software.

PHP is widely used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be integrated into the HTML. Typically, it runs on a Web server, taking as its PHP code information and create web pages output. It can be deployed on most web servers and on almost all operating systems and platform free. PHP is installed on more than 20 million Web sites and 1 million Web servers. It is also the most popular Apache module using computers as an Apache web server. The last major version of PHP 5.2.6 is the version of May 1, 2008
